Nieuwjaarsconcert in de Grote Kerk te Harderwijk
Zaterdagavond 24 januari 2015 vindt er in Harderwijk een unieke muzikale ontmoeting plaats! Het Nederlands Concert Mannenkoor (NCM) en het Concertorkest van de Stedelijke Harmonie te Harderwijk geven samen een concert in de Grote Kerk, Kerkplein 1, 3841 EC Harderwijk. Zij zullen tijdens dit concert het beste van zichzelf laten horen. Aanvang concert 19.30 uur, kerk open 19.00 uur.
Het Nederlands Concert Mannenkoor (NCM)
viert in 2015 haar 25-jarig jubileum. Het bestaat uit ruim 100 ervaren zangers die uit geheel Nederland komen. De zangers zijn veelal lid van een plaatselijk of regionaal koor en zijn optimaal gemotiveerd om tijdens de optredens hun faam waar te maken. Het NCM stimuleert naast haar eigen kwaliteitsniveau ook de ontwikkeling van de mannenkoorzang in ons land. Het repertoire bestaat naast religieuze liederen, spirituals en klassieke werken ook uit gedeelten van opera’s, musicals, en andere vormen van lichte muziek. Kortom het NCM heeft een breed en interessant mannenkoor repertoire. Het staat onder leiding van de deskundige dirigent, componist en arrangeur Jimco Zijlstra. De vaste begeleiders zijn Jan Lenselink, vleugel en André van Vliet aan het orgel. Beide muzikale virtuozen zijn bij velen bekend door optredens voor radio en televisie.
De Stedelijke Harmonie
is al 135 jaar actief in Harderwijk en is een begrip in Harderwijk en omgeving. Het concertorkest staat vanaf 1 september 2014 onder leiding van dirigent Wendy Biljard. In het najaar verzorgt het orkest haar eigen avondvullend concert met bijna elk jaar een nieuw thema in het Theater van Harderwijk. Naast dit grote terugkerende concert zijn er de optredens op Koninginnedag, Kulting Harderwijk, wijkconcerten, kerkdiensten en het festival van het Noord Veluws Muziek Verband. Het orkest bestaat uit een kleine 45 muzikanten.
